Edderthorpe, Tuesday morning

Lots of birds feeding on the Flash, the highlights;- Little Egret 2, Shoveler 7, Little Grebe 23, Green Sandpiper 3, Common Sandpiper 3, Ringed Plover 3, Dunlin 1, Common Snipe 15, Common Tern 3.

    Plus one very large mink on dearne Graham, very worrying!

    Probably explains the lack of Tufted broods on the river, and why the only brood there only has one young.
