Carlton Marsh

This evening's ringing produced 20 birds from 2 nets and included a record catch of 15 Chiffchaffs, 3 Reed Warblers, 1 Blackcap and a Treecreeper.

This was a bird from elsewhere. One for you Martin
Reed Warbler Z171763 juv 63mm wing 12 grams

c100 Swallows came in to roost and a Water Rail was calling. As the light faded 2 Daubenton's bats were feeding over the scrape.

    Sent it off Cliff. BTO are restructuring their recovery programme. Hence the lack of any recoveries. I'll post em when I get em.
