Broomhill mid AM- Generally a quiet day with 9 Cormorant, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, 27 Gadwall, 21 Teal, 18 Tufted Duck, 6 Shoveler, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel and 1 Common Gull.
Bolton Ings late AM- On the open water were 17 Cormorant, 6 Grey Heron, 5 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Mute Swan+ 4 juv, 43 Gadwall, 24 Shoveler, 18 Tufted Duck, 11 Pochard, 6 Teal, 1 Shelduck, 6 Common Gull and 1 LBB Gull. Also present were 2 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Jay, 1 Green Woodpecker, 3 Snipe, 1 Bullfinch, 1 Kingfisher, a flock of 50+ Fieldfare and a flock of 30+ Redwing.
Wombwell Ings early PM- Birds noted included 2 Cormorant,1 Grey Heron, 22 Greylag, 43 Wigeon,18 Gadwall, 16 Mallard, 15 Teal, 12 Tufted Duck, 2 Shoveler, 4 Snipe, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Kestrel and 100+ Lapwing.
