July, and more Black-wits

EDDERTHORPE
More Black-tailed Godwits on the marsh this morning - another 10, all adults of the continental race. The plovers are also getting more numerous with 11 Ringed and 13 Little Ringed present. Avocet 2, Redshank 18, Oystercatcher 1, Shelduck 2 with their young and Shoveler 3.

The Great Crested Grebe is still on here.

    I'm no expert but at 2.30 there was at least 60 Godwit on Edderthorpe.

    You are correct Neighbour - there are 62 Black-tailed Godwits on here all afternoon and evening, thanks for the tip-off.
