A big change in the weather this morning compared to yesterday, 6c at 08.00 with drizzle. Fortunately rain stopped but wind increased. Struggling for highlights today, the "resident" Buzzard, 4 Oystercatchers, pair of Goldeneye and Tufted's up to 53. Called in at Edderthorpe mid afternoon, birds seen included Shelduck 5, Oystercatcher 2 and Shoveler a very impressive 70.
Went onto Reedbeds at Old Moor for last couple of hours, weather gradually got worse with heavy rain, Bittern booming but sounded as soggy as the weather.
Other news from Old Moor today included Mediterranean Gull, Oystercatcher 4 and Redshank 2.
