3 trios and a quartet. Wintersett 02.05.12

Wintersett Res - Singers: Reed Warbler  3,  Garden Warbler  3,  Lesser Whitethroat  3 and Whitethroat 4.
Dunlin 1, Curlew 1  both went over north.  Common Terns 6,  Goldeneye 2 imm. males.  A Tawny Owl gave good views as it was being mobbed by jays.
Highlights today were a calling CUCKOO moving SE,  2  BLACK  TERNS and  Arctic Terns  4 +11 flew north over ACP.
Walton Hall - Yellow Wagtail 1,  Grey Wagtail 1
Anglers  CP - Wheatear  1 female that looks like Greenland  race,  Shelduck 4 which then left north,  Pink-footed Goose 2. 
Yesterday's Sedge Warblers were migrants and have moved on, so we are still waiting for local breeders which are, hopefully, still on route.
