From Pete Smith:
A TREE SPARROW (TS09438), ringed as a nestling from a brood of six, in a nestbox at Cold Hiendley on 15.07.11, was found (ring only) at Thetford, Norfolk on 30.09.12, a distance of 200kms to the south east.
This confirms that some of our Tree Sparrows, do, in fact, move considerable distances from their natal areas.
