Edderthorpe, Thursday morning

A very wet cream-crown Marsh Harrier had a fly around before dropping into the softrush nearest the layby at 07.00. Greylag Goose 166, Teal 176, Pochard 9, Wigeon 8, Little Grebe 48, Little Egret 12, Common Sandpiper 1.

    Marsh Harrier was flushed from settling pond after which it headed towards Houghton Washlands about 8.45.Also present 1 Ruff.
