Today 3 Willow Warblers and 11 Chiffchaffs were in full song, and 3 Sand Martins flew north. 2 Buzzards were harassing the Wood Pigeons and Little owl was on his usual perch. 2 Greylags flew north and a Lapwing south. (sadly a scarcity up this valley now anytime of year!)

21 Waxwings were at Silverstone Avenue again (Keith Bannister) and a male Blackcap was feeding on fat balls in my garden at mid-day.
