What a contrast to yesterday; just 3 degrees at Broadstones today and a biting easterly wind.
Winscar Reservoir - 28 Canada Geese, c80 Mallards, 1 drake Tufted Duck and c30 Black-headed Gulls.
Whitley Common - 6 Curlews and 2 Fieldfares.
Broadstones Reservoir - 55 Golden Plovers and 3 Herring Gulls.
Ingbirchworth Reservoir - 20 Mallards, 1 drake Tufted Duck, a pair of Goldeneyes, a pair of Liitle Grebes, 1 Great Crested Gebe, 4 Moorhens, 15 Coots, 5 Oystercatchers and 2 Common Gulls.
Castle Dam - 3 Mallards, 2 Moorhens and 8 Coots.
More Hall Reservoir - 1 Canada Goose, 1 drake Wigeon, 59 Mallards and 2 Moorhens.
Broomhead Reservoir - nowt - not even in the surrounding conifers.
