A very quiet start but ended up with a decent list by 5:30pm ..
1 woodcock (Mick Cunningham), at least 6 common snipe, 4 oystercatchers, 11 ravens, c8 common buzzards, 2 kestrels, a sparrowhawk, 7 crossbills, 4 greylags and 2 Canadas .. Plenty of mipits, lapwings and curlews as previous reports ..
Osprey ? .. Still waiting ..
Mr Tyke mentioned that the redhead smew seems to have disappeared from Bretton too ..
