Broomhill Flash

A good start opening Broomhill this morning with a singing Grasshopper Warbler up the hedge line from the hide around 6.45a.m. and Willow Warbler in front of the hide. On the reserve I had :-
1 Redshank, 1 Snipe, 14 Tufted Duck, 2 Pochard, 6 Little Grebe, 10 Mallard+10 duckling, 5 Gadwall, 2 Shovelor, 2 Mute Swan, 4 Reed Bunting, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 3 Willow Warbler, 1 Yellowhammer, 3 House Martin, 1 Swallow, 5 Red-legged Partridge, 2 Little Owl, 1 Kestrel, 3 Buzzard, 1 Sparrow hawk, 5 Brown Hare.
