Edderthorpe Ings


A large and uncommon Leaf-Beetle found today in fields north of Edderthorpe - Galeruca tanaceti.
Last reported for Barnsley by Bayford in 1940.

    Distinctive thing once you know it.
    I thought it was some kind of burying beetle when I first saw it
    in the net.
