I know very little about dragonflies but I know a male Broad-bodied Chaser when I see one and today I saw at least five on the small Keeper's Pond at Stainborough. I also don't know enough to know whether this is noteworthy or about as interesting as reporting a blackbird in my back garden.
Hi Ian, Yes B.B.Chaser is relatively common these days, but always good to see. Be aware of Black-tailed Skimmer though,it can look similar at distance.
