The news on this day!

Not much birding for me, just brief visits to Broomhill and Manvers (don't even think it!) so all news snippets from others.

Old Moor: 2 Little Egret, Peregrine, 2 juv Ringed Plovers, Common Sand, Med' Gull (peg-leg).

Adwick: Little Egret, 6 LRP.

Wombwell Ings: Little Egret (whilst 2 at Old Moor).

Edderthorpe: 14 Black-tailed Godwits.

It is not easy to know just how significant Grahams LRP count this morning is, as the main news carriers back away from publishing the species, with, (as 'young Nudger' would tell you), Birdguides stating that this is because it is a schedule 1 breeding species in suitable breeding habitat. Excellent count for us, anyway.
