Wombwell Ings mid AM-Present were 2 Cormorant, 1 Mute Swan, 38 Canada Geese, 15 Greylag, 2 Shelduck, 26 Gadwall, 14 Mallard, 12 Tufted Duck, 2 Shoveler, 10+ Lapwing, 4 Redshank, 2 Avocet, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 LBB Gull, 20+ Swallow, 10+ House Martin, 5 Skylark, 3 Reed Bunting, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Chiffchaff and 1 Whitethroat. A revisit mid PM added 3 Little Ringed Plover, 5 more Avocet (a total of 7), 1 Snipe and 2 Linnet.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM-On the open water were 2 Black Necked Grebe, 5 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan, 33 Tufted Duck, 11 Pochard, 7 Gadwall, 5 Mallard, 1 Shoveler and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 17 Greylag, 11 Canada Geese, 1 LBB Gull, 10+ Swift and 1 Oystercatcher.
TPT-Singing males 4 Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff, 4 Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap and 1 Lesser Whitethroat.
