Stag Beetle

One for Oxycera
Can you confirm this as a Lesser Stag Beetle. It was found by Geoff Miller in his Cudworth garden.

  1. Hi Cliff,

I would say so, Dorcus parallelopipedus; too big for Sinodendron amongst other things.
    Looks like a male.
Last local record to my knowledge was 1977 when Godfrey Blunt found one at Worsbrough.
