A 1st summer drake
Greater Scaup caused some confusion at Anglers CP this morning before the adult drake
Lesser Scaup was seen on Wintersett Res. The Black-necked Grebe was still present (ACP) and these three birds attracted many visiting birders. A Whimbrel,on the boathouse slipway, a Common Sandpiper, a male Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Grey Heron were also around WRes. 3 Turnstone were brought in to Anglers CP by the rain this afternoon. A drake Shoveler, a drake Teal and 100 Swallow were also at ACP.
