Edderthorpe early morning

On the Flash;- Shelduck 4, Shoveler 5, Pochard 5, Oystercatcher 2, Avocet 2, Common Sand 1.
Houghton Wash- which is rapidly drying out;- Teal 14, Avocet 5 (including 2 off the Flash), LRP 2, Buzzard 1, Wheatear 3. The Lapwing nests that had water brushing up against them at the height of the flooding are now hatching! A few warblers are arriving with singing Whitethroats, Lesser Whitethroats, Willow Warblers all into new territorries.
