Good passage and unusual migrants at Harden today.
1 Red Kite west, 1 Marsh Harrier west, 1 Hobby, 1 Pied Flycatcher (in garden), 1 Sedge Warbler (in garden), 4/5 Willow Warblers (in garden), 2 Blackcaps west and 1 Tree Pipit west.
All records per Mick Cunningham.
Remarkable records when you consider the remote moorland location (390m a.s.l.).
And doubely remarkable considering how little was moving at Wintersett all morning- virtually nothing!
ReplyDeleteGood movement also at Broomhead Moor this a.m. including 10 Tree Pipits, 1 Yellow Wagtail and 100+ Swalows - see SBBG website.
