Carlton Marsh

This mornings highlights before the rain, Great Spotted Woodpecker, a singing Reed Warbler, Water Rail, 3 Cetti's warblers sang, Chiffchaff and Blackcaps called and several Skylarks were feeding in a nearby stubble field (JP). These were the first since June!

The photo below was taken from the hide last Friday 15/9/25. 

It looks as though this very large fish is trying its best to devour the Cormorant. (Clive Mitchell)

Cudworth Moths 
The following were Attracted to my garden M.V. light trap 19/9/25.
Common Marbled Carpet, Shuttle shaped Dart, Setaceous Hebrew Character, Small Dusty Wave, Small Fan-footed Wave and 3 Light Emerald. The latter from a second brood (CG).
