The scrapes were again awash with Canada Geese and Greylag Geese. 2 Water Rails called at dusk but there was no sign of the Bittern. However, there have been reports of it being seen in front of the reed beds last Thursday and Sunday (Gemma Shearing).
5 Blackcaps a Reed Warbler and a Yellow Bunting were ringed (CG).
