c200 Pink feet NE at 09.15hrs were seen first over Low Cudworth (JP/CG). Later 17 Greylags flew east at 11.50hrs (CG).

Water Rail, Kingfisher and 2 Cetti's Warbler called and 15 + 12 Fieldfares flew west (JP/L & A Corrall).

A male Blackcap was ringed this morning. (PS)

Goldeneye 23 ACP + 18 WRes..   Pintail 1.

15 Ring-necked Parakeet flew south over Wintersett village 07.55hrs. (SD)

20 Golden Plover flew south.  A Little Egret flew north.

Wintersett Res:

 3,300 Starlings roosted at dawn.

Shoveler 28.   Gadwall 28.

Going west:  Starling 3475.   Fieldfare 897.  Redwing 2680. Peregrine 1.

alba Wagtail 3.  Reed Bunting 9.  Dunlin 2 at 07.40hrs.

Goldfinch 10.  Linnet 15.  Red Kite 1 north.  Skylark 33.

A Great White Egret was at Anglers briefly.

Pink-footed Goose 47.  Hawfinch 4.

36 birds were ringed this morning @wintersett ACP, 

Highlights were: 

Lesser Redpoll 7,  Linnet 2,  Bullfinch 1,  Redwing 24, 

and the first Fieldfare ringed here in almost 33 years! (PS)

Pink Feet Geese were moving through the area again today with 90 NE (JP), 65 NW at 10.25hrs & 40NW at 11.55hrs (RL/CG).

Also on the move 1 LBB Gull east, 50 Golden Plover north, 6 Fieldfares, 20 Skylark and 4 Meadow Pipits (JP)

with 18 Lesser Redpoll, 13 Redwing and a Goldcrest.

Wintersett Res:

A short-eared Owl flew over the east bank field,  left east at 08.30hrs.(PW)

A male Cetti's Warbler at Botany Bay.  Goosander 5.

Anglers CP:

A Redshank flew over CP at 09.18hrs.  A Dunlin flew south.

Pink-footed Goose 705 west (in 7 skeins)  + 5 east. 

Red kite 1 up over Crofton + 1.

Going south:

Mistle Thrush 4.   Bullfinch 5 + 2. 

Going west:

Redwing 2680.  Fieldfare 897.  Starling 3475.

Chaffinch 22.

Captive bred Black Swans at nearby Bleachcroft Farm have 4 very young cygnets,

3 Migrant Hawkers were on the wing (C. Parkin).
