A bit late but counts on Sunday turned up some impressive numbers especially grebes and waders. Highlights as follows, Great Crested Grebe 18, Little Grebe 47, Black Necked Grebe 1, Bittern 1, Little Egret 1, Cormorant 45, Shoveler 49, Gadwall 122, Wigeon 429, Tufted Duck 174, Pochard 38, Goosander 20, Goldeneye 9, Redshank 18, Green Sandpiper 4, Oystercatcher 12, Curlew 1, Water Rail 6. Also seen was the Cettis Warbler again.
Few reports since Sunday, nothing yesterday and Little Egret and Cettis Warbler today.
