Carlton Marsh

Highlights today singing Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Reed Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 14 Willow Warbler etc. 3 Red Legged Partridge, 2 Little Owl (1 at old Carlton Pit) There were 3 Wheatears there too. Steady passage north of Swifts and Swallow this afternoon and 2 Sand Martins. 15 Peacock and 22 male Orange Tip butterflies (R. Hibbert & L. Corrall)
There was another Wheatear at the new cemetery in Cudworth.
