On the Flash this morning;- Mute Swan 32, Gadwall 49, Teal 1, Common Sand 1, LRP 2.
On Houghton fields;- the Oystercatcher is still sitting (cant be long before they hatch?) but Lapwings appear to have not fared very well with their third attempts - very few appear to still be sitting and I only saw one brood of young (although it is difficult in a growing and thickening crop).
