Caspian Gull
An adult Caspian Gull is among the 800 or so gulls feeding and resting in fields being cut for silage at Whitley Edge/Lower Maythorn this afternoon. It was found by Mick Cunningham on Whitley Common yesterday. Other gulls present:- 3 (1 adult? and 2 3rd cy) Yellow-legged, 5+ Common, c350 Lesser Black-backed and 400+ Black-headed.
