The few records for Whinchat that I know of in the Penistone/Stocksbridge area are:- Singles (two) at Whitley Common in late April. 1 at Broadstones Res. on 17th May. A male holding a breeding territory at Broomhead Moor. A male holding a breeding territory at Barnside Moor. Although the records are very sparse indeed they represent an increase of one in the number of breeding territories!

No Stonechat at Wintersett but have had a Whinchat.
Stonechat at Old Moor on 27th March..
