Meadow Pipit 5 SW, Swallow 17 W, Sand Martin 7 SW, Golden Plover 2 W + 4 S + 5 E, Greylag Goose 9 W at 08.40hrs, Ringed Plover 1 N at 9.55hrs, Cormorant 3 high W, Curlew 10 W at 10.00hrs, Snipe 4 W and Buzzard 1 very pale bird + 2 very high E at 10.25hrs.
Anglers CP: Hobby at 07.55, Yellow Wagtail 2 dropped in. Common Sandpiper 1. A Black-tailed Godwit flew into the shallows at 14.05hrs. Yellow-legged Gull 1 adult.
Wintersett Res: SWIFT 1, Water Rail 1, Pochard 46.
111 birds were ringed this morning including: 2 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 52 Swallow, 17 Blackcap, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 5 Sedge Warbler, 6 Reed Warbler, 1 Willow Warbler, 8 Chiffchaff and 5 Linnet.
