Wombwell Ings early/mid AM- Good start to the year with a Peregrine sat preening for 20 minutes on the edge of the main flash. Also present were 5 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant over, 3a+1j Mute Swan, 24 Canada Geese, 1 Shelduck, 51+ Wigeon, 48+ Teal, 33 Mallard, 4f+3m Goosander, 2 Tufted Duck, 1f Shoveler, 109 BH Gull, 4 Common Gull, 1 Kestrel, c20 Redwing and 4 Fieldfare.
Broomhill Flash mid AM- Present were 1 Cormorant, 5a+3j Mute Swan, 63 Gadwall, 5 Tufted Duck, 4 Teal, 3 Mallard, 2 Wigeon, 127 BH Gull and c40 Redwing(in the car park hawthorns)
Bolton Ings late AM- Heavy downpour as I walked along the TPT. Present were 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 4a+1j Mute Swan, 26 Pochard, 10 Mallard, 7 Tufted Duck, 4 Wigeon, 2f+1m Goldeneye, 2 Teal, 2m Shoveler, 1 Gadwall, 99 BH Gull, 10 Common Gull and 1 Jay.
