I'm back from my jaunt to South Uist. Many thanks to Gray for blogging all the excitement last week. I've added those birds to my extensive Missed It list!
A cold and sunny start, up to 9°C at midday with a light north westerly.
Anglers CP Vis Mig: 3 Black-tailed Godwits, left east at 08.40hrs, are new for the year list. A Whimbrel left north west at 09.15hrs.
Anglers CP: Arctic Tern 1, Common Tern 2 + 6 WRes. There is only one immature, male Goldeneye in the area today. Teal 2m + 1f, Swift 45 and Common Sandpiper 1 + 1 WRes..
Wintersett Res: Grasshopper Warbler 3 m, and Sedge Warbler 5 m.
Old Royston Flash: Little Ringed Plover 1.
