Wombwell Ings - Present were 19 Mute Swan, 4 Greylag, 1 Shelduck, 82+9y Gadwall, 11+4y Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Pochard, 1 Shoveler, 3 Grey Heron, 12 Coot, 6 Lapwing, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank, 3 Skylark, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Sedge Warbler, 3 Linnet and 1 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+4y Mute Swan, 38 Canada Geese, 5 Greylag, 1 Bar Headed Goose, 21 Tufted Duck, 13 Mallard, 4 Pochard, 2 Gadwall, 1 Shoveler, 5+2y Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 35+3y Coot, 2 Moorhen, 12 Lapwing and 1 Redshank.
TPT - Singing males 6 Willow Warbler, 6 Chiffchaff, 5 Blackcap, 1 Whitethroat and 1 Sedge Warbler. Also seen were 1 Buzzard and 1 Sparrowhawk.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+8y Mute Swan, 15+4y Mallard, 13 Tufted Duck, 7 Gadwall, 5 Pochard, 3+2y Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 65+31y Coot and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Bittern( flew from east to west corner along front edge of eastern pool at 12.36pm), 1 Grey Heron, 1 Common Tern, 1 Lapwing and 2 Bullfinch.
