81 birds were ringed this morning:
Highlights were:
Common Redpoll 2, Lesser Redpoll 63 Coal Tit, Goldcrest 2,
Redwing, and 2 Blackbirds
(including photo below of rufous adult female, likely from NE Scandinavia)
and 1 control Lesser Redpoll - (details awaited). - Becky Bailey.
Anglers CP:
A Water Rail called from the outflow and another Water Rail was in the CP shallows.
Going west: Pink-footed Geese in 3 skeins - 55 + 170 + 220.
Haw Park Wood:
17 Pink-footed Geese flew over at 10.55hrs.
