Edderthorpe a.m.and Wintersett p.m.

A skein of 120 Pink-feet went south-west at 08.50. Shelduck 1, Shoveler 33 and a Goldeneye were on the flash. All the Lapwing and Goldies were very 'jumpy' but not surprising as first a Merlin went low over the water and then 2 Peregrines together buzzed the flock.
Wintersett extras;
Some decent counts from the WeBS wildfowl counts included - Gadwall 124, Wigeon 232, Goldeneye 60, Tufted 410, Pochard 113, Coot 709, and in the gull roost this evening - GBBG 10, LBBG 20, Herring Gull 80, Yellow-legged Gull 1 adult, Common Gull 1700, Black-headed Gull 9000.
