Wintersett 28.11.12

Colder but brighter today.  Ground still saturated.
Anglers CP:  2 juvenile Common Scoters  are new in. As are more Canada Geese (237 total), including one white type with a pink bill.    The female Long-tailed Duck  and the 1st winter male Scaup are still here   Also here Goosander 27, Pochard 130, Teal 29 Water Rail 1. A Brambling was at the feeding station in the car park. 2 Crossbills flew over at 09.28hrs and a female Blackcap was feeding on Alder Buckthorn berries at the entrance to the CP. 
Wintersett Res:  The Egyptian Geese were in the north bank field along with 7 Grey Partridge.  The American Wigeon was in the NE corner.   The 1st winter male and adult male Scaup were seen from the east bank. The female Scaup was on Botany.
