A cloudy start this morning 12c but skies cleared this afternoon and warmed to 17c with a cool wind. My prediction from last week was 33% right with the first brood of Pochard seen, at least 11 ducklings. As last week hardly any migrants seen but Lapwings are now gathering with flocks of 9 and 15 dropping in.
