A quiet and rather disappointing day after yesterdays excitment. Best bird was a adult
Peregrine which circled the Top Res late morning. A female Pochard was new on Anglers CP, the female Goldeneye, Teal and pair of Shoveler remain here. The goose flock on the Country Park is slowly building up ready for their summer moult - Canada 110 and Greylag 17. The murky morning weather brought the feeding Swifts low and 1500 were over the Top Res and surrounding villages, but few hirundines were amongst them.
