Spent the first hour from dawn at the usual crossbill viewing area;- around 40 Common Crossbills showed well around the feeding station but no sign nor sound of any Two-barred Crossbills. A good few Siskin were feeding amongst the Common Crossbills!
A couple of Tawny Owls were callimg as were a few Curlew but surprisingly no gulls were on the res at first light.

They are becoming less reliable and certainly fewer. There was a report on Birdguides today at 10:25hrs but many I do not know,
