Wintersett, gulls 'n' stuff

Mostly sunny and cool with a light northerly wind.
The gull roost this evening was very good again on the Country Park lake;- Caspian Gull 2, a first-winter bird and a third-winter bird (the latter was seen here just over 2 weeks ago), Yellow-legged Gull 2, the usual adult and a first-winter, GBBGull 240, LBBGull 4, Herring Gull 677.
A high count of 80 Goosanders were on the lake at dusk, Wigeon 218, Greylag Goose 116. A couple of Woodcock also flew over at dusk.
And during the day;- the Cettis Warbler is still on the Top Res, calling regular and singing once, Nuthatch in Pits Wood, a Mealy Redpoll in Haw Park and also 16 Common Crossbills there. Lastly a Redshank was present in the morning.
