There were 2 Painted Ladies at Monk Bretton (Chris Parkin) 1 at Worsbro (Andrew Corrall) and I saw one near Tyers Hall, Darfield. This looks like it could be the start of a good year for them.

This evening there were 2 Redshank, 20 Tufted Duck, 3 Little Grebe (1 on nest) Kingfisher, a family of Willow Tits, a family of Great Spot Woodpecker and 2 Little Owl. With the Redshank was a Little Egret, which moved between the 'New Scrape' in the southern meadow and the marsh. It's getting better Russ.
