15 - 21°C.  Rain first thing then hot and humid with a couple of light showers and a light south westerly.
Anglers CP: Grey Wagtail 1, Teal 1m,  Common Tern 1,  Cormorant 2 and Oystercatcher 2 adults + 1 young.  A Yellow Wagtail, with food,  flew towards the north bank WRes..  
Butterflies in the area: 20+ Ringlet,  Small Heath 2,  Painted Lady 1 and Red Admiral 1.
Overnight moth trapping highlights were: Beautiful Hooktip,  Marbled White Spot and Beautiful Carpet.  True Lover's Knot (usually feeds on heather) and White Pinion Spotted were the first caught for 3 years.  Also Buff Ermine and Figure of 80.
