Carlton Marsh

Little Egret, LRP and Redshank were on the wader scrape with a family of Greylags this morning. We didn't do much birding as it was our weekly work morning, but there was a Lesser Whitethroat singing in the car park and a young Fox cub was also seen. (Keith Bannister)

Cudworth Common
Butterflies included 40 Dingy Skippers, 2 Peacock and 3 Small Heath. Also of note 2 Brown Hares.

Edderthorpe
10 Dingy Skippers and a female Grass Snake (Les Corrall/ Ralph Hibbert).
