Wakefield Naturalist Society visited this morning led by John Gardener. They came up with Cuckoo, Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Large Red Damselflies, 3 Dingy Skippers, Small Copper and a long-horned beetle species.
In addition our lads had LRP, 3 Lapwings with 1 chick, singing Garden Warbler and Coal Tit. Canada Goose, Greylag, Mallard, Coot and Long-tailed Tit, all with young.
10 Orange-tip, 1 Peacock, 2 Green Viened White and several Speckled Wood butterflies about.A Fox was laying down enjoying the sunshine.
