Anglers CP: Chris Swaine had a YES!!! moment this afternoon, when he picked up a small gull flying over the north bank. He thought, initially, it was the long staying Little Gull, but soon realised it was a stunning juvenile SABINE'S GULL, only the 5th record for this site. It showed, and performed well, all afternoon, often together with the Little Gull. Also Shoveler 4 f+1 m, Teal 4, Little Grebe 5. Cormorant 10.
Wintersett Res: A male Cetti's Warbler sub song was heard on the east bank.
Lepidoptera: Small White 1 west bank.
Wintersett Res. Gull Roost: The Sabine's Gull came in at 19.30 and roosted amongst the Black-headed Gulls. The Little Gull was present for the ninth day.
