Swallows were back on telephone wires at Midhopestones (1) and Upper Midhope (2).
A Barn Owl was in full view early on at Midhope Res as well as an adult Roe Deer with two well grown fawns. Waders included an Oystercatcher pair, a few Curlew and Lapwing but no Common Sandpiper yet.
3+ Snipe chipped at Low Moor and a Willow Warbler sang briefly at Langsett Res where there was also another Oystercatcher pair.
