An Osprey appeared over the neck end of Midhope Res just before 7am and slowly flew over the water towards the dam wall. It hovered for a brief period spooking the Oystercatcher pair before moving lowish northwards towards Langsett Res.
Also seen were Green Woodpecker, Redwing, 4 Curlew, Chiffchaff, Meadow Pipit displaying, 4 Jay and 3 Little Grebe.
