Bolton Ings - 3rd November
Cold this morning, 6c mainly clear, blustery with squally showers. A good start with 61 Pink Footed Geese over east at 08.55 then a Buzzard drifted south. Loads of dabbling duck on the western pool included a record 230 Gadwall and a fine drake Pintail. At 10.45 a flock of ducks flew up the valley over to Old Moor (flushed from Adwick?) included 107 Mallard. Later around midday 10 Black Tailed Godwits flew West. Finally 2 Goldcrests were with a Long Tailed Tit flock on Warbler Way.
