JMT does it again

A voice message today from Mick Turton to say that 3 Velvet Scoters were on Langsett and  got the day off to a good start. Only had 45mins up there though due to other commitments. They were still there when I left at 10:00hrs.
Langsett Reservoir - 33 Canada Geese, c20 Mallards, 2 Tufted Ducks, 3 (2 immature? drakes & 1 female) Velvet Scoters and 2+ Common Sandpipers,
Coincidently  Mick had the last ones seen here on 7th January 1979. .
