A visit just before dusk produced Little Owl, c50 Redwings and roughly the same amount of Fieldfares, Goldcrest, Water Rail and c250 Starlings came in to roost. Earlier during the morning Dave Smith had a Chiffchaff. This bird was calling noticeably loudly as it seems to me some wintering birds do.

A pair of Stonechats were there yesterday.
