The best bits today were Redshank, Kingfisher, hovering over the scrape, Cuckoo, Great Spot Woodpecker and Grey Wagtail. Azure damselfly and 4 Spot Chaser were on the wing. Southern Marsh Orchid and Pignut are now flowering.
A Red Kite flew north over Beech Avenue, Cudworth at 19.08hrs. (Geoff Miller) Geoff's home is about half a mile as the crow flies from the marsh.
